Space Craft MFG reported this defect to federal regulators on Aug 16, 2024 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 1. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Space Craft MFG (Space Craft) is recalling one Suburban Slide in Range installed in a 2023 S-390 fifth-wheel trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.
The risk
A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy
Space Craft will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 5, 2024. Owners may contact Space Craft customer service at 1-660-463-7520.
