The defect
Airstream, Inc. (Airstream) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Interstate 24 and Interstate 19 motorhomes. The main cable from the battery to the fuse panel may be under-protected by a 200-amp fuse, which could allow the wiring to overheat in the event of a short circuit.
The risk
Wiring that overheats can increase the risk of a fire.
The remedy
Dealers will replace the 200-amp fuse with a 50-amp fuse, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 14, 2023. Owners may contact Airstream customer service at 1-877-596-6505 or 1-937-596-6111 ext. 7401 or 7411.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 23V454000.
