Foretravel, Inc.: Electrical System
Foretravel, Inc. reported this defect to federal regulators on May 17, 2023 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 67. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Foretravel, Inc. (Foretravel) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Realm, Realm Presidential, and FS450 motorhomes. The vehicle control module (ICM) may have a software error, which can cause a loss of drive power or disable other safety systems, such as the headlights or windshield wipers.
The risk
The loss of drive power, headlights, or windshield wipers can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will reprogram the vehicle control module, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 3, 2023. Owners may contact Foretravel customer service at 1-800-955-6226.
