Nissan North America, Inc.: Seats › Mid/Rear Assembly
Nissan North America, Inc. reported this defect to federal regulators on Feb 21, 2023 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 17. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2023 Infiniti QX60 vehicles. The second-row adjustable seat may extend past the intended rear stopper point and may be difficult to move, become stuck, or fail to lock in the correct position.
The risk
A seat that becomes stuck or fails to lock in a secured position may not properly restrain the occupant during a crash, increasing their risk of injury.
The remedy
Dealers will remove and replace the second-row seat, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2023. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669. Nissan's number for this recall is PC953.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 23V108000.
