Winnebago Towable: Equipment › Other › Labels
Winnebago Towable reported this defect to federal regulators on Nov 29, 2022 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 63. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Winnebago Towable (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Voyage and Minnie travel trailers. The cargo carrying capacity label (CCC) on the trailer may show an incorrect load carrying capacity, which could lead to an unintentional overloading of the vehicle. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 110, "Tire Selection and Rims" and 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."
The risk
A trailer that is overloaded can cause a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Dealers will install new labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 9, 2023. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5280 ext. 5220.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 22V884000.
