Kibbi, LLC: Electrical System › Wiring › Relays/Solenoids
Kibbi, LLC reported this defect to federal regulators on Apr 20, 2022 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 148. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Kibbi, LLC (Kibbi) is recalling certain 2021 Renegade RV Vienna and Villagio motorhomes equipped with Dayton/Snyder electrical relays. A stranded wire used in the connector may cause the relay to overheat.
The risk
An overheated electrical relay increases the risk of a fire.
The remedy
Dealers will remove the electrical relay and reconnect wiring as necessary. Dealers will also add a warning label by the Firefly touch screen that states, "Don't use Range, Microwave or Air Conditioning unit unless the coach is powered by shore or Generator." All repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 29, 2022. Owners may contact Kibbi's customer service at 1-574-966-0196.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 22V268000.
