Space Craft MFG: Structure
Space Craft MFG reported this defect to federal regulators on Aug 26, 2021 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 11. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Space Craft MFG (Space Craft) is recalling certain 2019-2021 travel, fifth-wheel, and semi-trailers (see recall report for specific model numbers). The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.
The risk
Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
The remedy
Space Craft will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed December 9, 2021. Owners may contact Space Craft customer service at 1-660-463-7520.
