Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc.: Electrical System › Wiring
Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. reported this defect to federal regulators on Sep 9, 2019 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 16,766. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Isuzu Technical Center of America, Inc. (Isuzu) is recalling certain 2017-2019 N-GAS HD and Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 3500 and 4500 vehicles and 2018-2019 Isuzu FTR and Chevrolet Low Cab Forward 6500XD vehicles. The power supply bolt in the relay box may not have been properly tightened during harness production at the supplier. This may lead to melting of the power wire and/or a loss of electrical power to the vehicle, which can lead to a stall.
The risk
A stall can increase the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Isuzu will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the relay box power supply bolt, tightening it as necessary. If the harness or relay box is found to be damaged, it will be replaced or repaired, free of charge. The recall began October 24, 2019. Owners may contact Isuzu customer service at 1-866-441-9638. Isuzu's number for this recall is V1905.

A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 19V647000.
