Trail King Industries, Inc.: Service Brakes, Air › Disc › Caliper
Trail King Industries, Inc. reported this defect to federal regulators on Oct 2, 2017 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 2. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Trail King Industries, Inc. (Trail King) is recalling certain 2018 Fifth Wheel Live Bottom trailers, model OLB844NG-HH, manufactured with MPA/MTA suspensions equipped with Meritor EX225 brakes. The brake caliper bolts on these axles may not be properly torqued which can allow the caliper to detach from the mounting flange.
The risk
If the caliper bolts are improperly torqued and the caliper detaches from the mounting flange, a loss of braking ability would occur, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
Trail King has notified owners and will inspect the caliper bolts, replacing any loose or missing ones, free of charge. The recall began on October 13, 2017. Owners may contact Trail King customer service at 1-800-843-3324.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 17V614000.
