Thor Motor Coach: Equipment › Other › Labels
Thor Motor Coach reported this defect to federal regulators on Apr 10, 2017 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 90. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2017 Palazzo 36.1 and 36.3 motorhomes. The Federal certification label on these vehicles indicates an incorrect front tire rim size. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
The risk
If the front rim is replaced based on the incorrect label information, it can cause an unsafe driving condition, increasing the risk of a crash.
The remedy
TMC will notify owners and will provide corrected replacement labels, free of charge. The recall began on June 2, 2017. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-500-1020. TMC's number for this recall is RC000133.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 17V238000.
