Eldorado National-Kansas: Fuel System, Gasoline › Delivery › Hoses, Lines/Piping, and Fittings
Eldorado National-Kansas reported this defect to federal regulators on Jun 16, 2016 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 285. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Eldorado National-Kansas (Eldorado) is recalling certain model year 2012-2016 Amerivan 10 vehicles manufactured November 30, 2012, to May 20, 2016. Due to an improperly installed fuel line separator, the fuel line may rub against the engine cradle and cause a fuel leak.
The risk
A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.
The remedy
Eldorado will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel line, and rework fuel line routing, free of charge. The recall began on September 7, 2016. Owners may contact Eldorado customer service at 1-913-392-2171.
