Autocar Industries, LLC: Seats
Autocar Industries, LLC reported this defect to federal regulators on Apr 23, 2014 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 207. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Autocar Industries, LLC (Autocar) is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 Xpert vehicles manufactured July 11, 2011, through March 5, 2014. During manufacturing, the floor mat may have been captured between the seat brackets and the cab sheet metal at all four connection points. This could cause the torque on the bolts to relax to below the required torque, allowing them to loosen. As such, these vehicles do not conform to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems."
The risk
Loose bolts may allow the seat to move in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to the seat occupant.
The remedy
Autocar will notify owners, and dealers will correct the seat mounting free of charge. The recall is expected to began in June 2014. Owners may contact Autocar's customer service at 1-765-489-5499. Autocar's number for this recall is M-1405.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 14V198000.
