Daimler Trucks North America: Structure
Daimler Trucks North America reported this defect to federal regulators on Sep 18, 2013 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 32. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is recalling certain model year 2013 Thomas Built Minotour DRW school buses manufactured June 29, 2013, through July 16, 2013. These vehicles were built with an alternative floor sheet metal which may not be properly bond to the other floor components due to the adhesive that was used.
The risk
As a result, the floor joints may be weaker than specified and, in the event of a crash, the floor may separate increasing the risk of injury.
The remedy
DTNA will notify owners, and dealers will add fasteners to the floor joints, free of charge. The recall began on November 18, 2013. Owners may contact DTNA at 1-503-745-6910. DTNA's recall number is FL-647.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 13V468000.
