Entegra Coach: Equipment › Other › Labels
Entegra Coach reported this defect to federal regulators on Jan 16, 2013 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 37. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Entegra Coach is recalling certain model year 2013 Aspire Class A motorhomes manufactured April 11, 2012, through August 30, 2012. On the affected vehicles, the Certification label incorrectly identifies the size of the tires on the rear axles. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 120, "Tire Selection and Rims for Motor Vehicles Other Than Passenger Cars."
The risk
An inaccurate label could lead to installation of improper replacement tires which may cause vehicle overloading which could lead to a tire failure resulting in personal injury or property damage.
The remedy
Entegra Coach will notify owners and dealers will replace the Certification label. The recall began on February 13, 2013. Owners may contact Entegra Coach at 1-800-945-4787.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 13V013000.
