Fleetwood RV, Inc.: Equipment › Other › Labels
Fleetwood RV, Inc. reported this defect to federal regulators on Jan 9, 2013 and put the number of vehicles at risk at 14. The repair is free for as long as the recall stands.
The defect
Fleetwood RV is recalling certain model year 2012 and 2013 Bounder Classic model 30T motorhomes manufactured from February 17, 2012, through November 30, 2012. The Federal Certification Tag information relating to front and rear tires is incorrect. Due to the inaccurate label, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Part 567, "Certification."
The risk
Owners relying on the information provided on the label may incorrectly inflate their tires, which could contribute to a tire failure that could cause a crash.
The remedy
Fleetwood RV will mail new federal certification tags to owners. Owners who are not comfortable installing these labels may have them replaced at a dealer, free of charge. The safety recall began on January 31, 2013. Owners may contact Fleetwood RV Owner Relations at 1-800-509-3418.

What this page is, and what to do next
A recall is not an opinion. It is a Part 573 report a manufacturer is required by federal law to file once it decides a defect poses an unreasonable risk to safety, and it commits them to repairing the vehicle at no cost to the owner. The three passages above are the manufacturer’s own wording as published by NHTSA.
This page describes the campaign. It cannot tell you whether one particular car has already been through the shop — that is tracked by VIN, and only the manufacturer knows it. Check yours at nhtsa.gov/recalls or with a franchised dealer, quoting campaign number 13V007000.
