Cut transmission

While driving on freeway and highway my vehicle suddenly came to an abrupt stop to the point of ABS system turning on as if there was a car in front without any obstacles or any vehicles on the road. It caused whiplash type of injury with each instance. It happened 5 times within 20 minutes. We visited professional body shop without any problems discovered. Since the vehicle was inspected in body shop it had happened twice again, last time on 9/26/21. Pls look into this issue ASAP as it is extremely dangerous situation!!

Vehicle is three years old. Never used the spare previously. Had a nail in the tire, so called Nissan Care to come and change it. Nissan Care arrived, used the spare that came with the vehicle and changed the tire. Immediately upon driving it, my wife heard weird noises, including grinding under her feet and grinding near the front right of the vehicle. Some knowledgeable car experts at her work told her she needs to get it checked out. She drove on it for less than 15 minutes before hearing a loud pop from the back, at which point the vehicle started smoking. She drove it to a nearby dealer. The dealer indicated the spare tire was not the same size as the others and because the vehicle has an intelligent all wheel drive system, this caused the rear differential to explode. The automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection light comes on while going down the road. One of the times that it came on it turned off cruise control and the vehicle started to slow way down and then it was like the brakes were being applied while we were on the Interstate surrounded by traffic. The vehicle then would not accelerate for a period of a couple of minutes requiring me to move over while I was in the process of trying to pass vehicles which then required drivers around me to have to slow down and avoid hitting us. The vehicle would not allow the cruise control to turn on until we finally got into a town and stopped to get something to eat. I did not report the issue to the manufacturer, police or insurance at this time. The warning light came on suddenly when the incident happened but since we had not had the vehicle that long we were not sure what it was so we had to look that up. Since then it has ran fine but the other day again while traveling down the interstate it came on again but this time there was not slowing, braking or anything as a result so don't know why it came on and it did not appear to be working correctly if it was not doing anything but flashing the warning light.

Had an accident to which passenger door area was the impact zone of a collision yet passenger front and side airbags did deploy yet only my front driver airbag deployed. My side airbag did not and I sustained injuries from being rammed against side whereas I wouldn’t have had it deployed. Also, wanted to note that while the passenger airbag did deploy my daughter still hit the windshield in midst of it deploying. Something to look into. Won’t let me upload, sorry. Key gets stuck in ignition and have to wiggle to get it out

The automatic brake employed even though there was no vehicles or objects in front. Only lets car speed up to about 60 mph but still applying the emergency brake. Also transmission light is on. Undriveable.

I was driving on the highway in fairly heavy traffic, going with the flow of traffic at approx. 65 miles per hour. I was in the passing lane when I felt the vehicle lose power (I initially thought it was a strong headwind as we were experiencing the tail-end of a hurricane here in the northeast). This happened for only a second and then everything seemed normal again. It happened again and I realized none of the trees on the side of the road indicated we were having any wind at all. I immediately worked my way into the right hand lane and as I did, the engine revved to about 5,000 RPMs and the vehicle lost power. There were highway maintenance vehicles in the breakdown lane so I put the vehicle in neutral and coasted beyond them so I could get into the breakdown lane. I narrowly avoided being hit by a tractor trailer when this vehicle's transmission disengaged without any warning. I only have 93,000 miles and the vehicle was bought brand new by me and driven only highway miles. There were absolutely no warning signs or emergency warning lights on the dash to indicate any type of failure. I was able to get this to the local Nissan dealership and they told me the transmission had failed and would need replacement at the cost of $4,600.00 and that Nissan would do nothing to offset any part of this repair. The contact owns a 2018 Nissan Rogue. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 MPH, the automatic emergency braking system activated without warning. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 58,000. The VIN was invalid.

The AEB system in my vehicle was upgraded due to recall in May 2021. On August 17th the AEB system engaged as I was driving down the road, there were no vehicles or obstructions in front of me to cause such action. I did avoid being hit from behind due to quick thinking and pulling to side of road. When the brakes engaged a malfunction warning flashed on my screen. No warnings were issued prior to incident. I called Nissan service they said they were unaware of a problem but I made appt to bring in to be evaluated, they did not find anything wrong and I was charged a diagnostics fee. After some research I did discover there are many other complaints of the same matter and also that there is an ongoing class action lawsuit against Nissan for this problem. I was also told by the Dealership manager that this is a problem with many Nissan vehicles.

In sum, vehicle was traveling at 35mph with no obstructions or vehicles in the front of my vehicle and forward collision warning activated, bringing vehicle to a complete stop. Breaks squealed and tire rubber burned onto pavement. Seatbelt clenched torso, leaving bruise on collar bone. Another occurrence was similar in speed, with no obstacles or vehicles in front of mine. The forward collision warning began beeping but not displaying any visuals or breaking vehicle.

The contact continued driving to his residence, where he taped cardboard over the roof. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer and it was diagnosed with needing the panoramic glass roof to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired however, the repair was still pending. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 31,000.

Automatic emergency braking engaged twice when attempting to pull into garage. There were no obstructions in the way and no reason for the car to engage emergency braking. Additionally, the warning light before the emergency braking engages flashed briefly while driving on an empty road with no traffic or obstructions. The car did not engage the emergency braking, but it was concerning that the message flashed for a moment when there was nothing on the road ahead of me.

While driving wheels locked up once with flash warning, one with sound warning. Happened twice within one week of each other. No obstructions in front of or behind me. Wheels locked up with no injuries. Took to dealer for diagnostic testing ($149.00) with no findings/codes to explain locking of wheels.

Driving vehicle on the highway when without notice the brakes engage. Very scary and dangerous. Have taken it four times to Nissan dealers without issue being resolved. This has been going on for two years. Appears to be with front sensor sensing there is an obstruction in front when there is not. After this occurs, a message will appear that states Front Collision Warning Unavailable. Better it not be available than to slam on the brakes putting us and the other vehicles at risk.

In sum, on 7/22/2020, my vehicle was traveling approximately 55mph southbound Interstate 90/94 at Harrison when the forward collision warning activated, and emergency braking occurred. Vehicle speed was reduced to 25mph for several seconds, then alert disengaged. There were no vehicles or obstacles immediately in front of my vehicle, however there were several vehicles behind me and within the lanes on either side of me. The emergency breaking caused my seatbelt to lock, and distract me with auditory and visual alerts, and cause the vehicles behind me to slam on their breaks. This incident could have resulted in a massive pile-up collision. No warning lamps or messages were present prior to malfunction. All warnings occurred during the few seconds of incident. I thought this problem could be an isolated incident of sensitive warning systems within the vehicle, however this has occurred again. On 7/3/2021, my vehicle was traveling northbound Harlem Avenue just north of College Drive over a bridge, when the forward collision warning was activated, and emergency breaking occurred. Yet again, there were no obstacles or vehicles in front of me for roughly ½ of a mile. Seatbelt locked, auditory and visual alerts distracted me, and the emergency breaking activated, then disengaged with an audible “hissing” noise. My cars automatic brake system engaged twice now. The first time I was driving and the brakes were slammed on and a car had to swerve hard to avoid me. Just now going 70mph on the freeway with my two kids in the car out of no where the brake assist kicked on and my car stopped. Luckily it kicked off right after and no harm done. I feel so unsafe now .

Front end collision at 40mph, no braking/warning, no air bags deployed

On June 10, 2021, I was driving my vehicle preparing to merge on the interstate to go home when all of a sudden the AEB Warning light activates and I cannot not safely drive my vehicle. My vehicle speed would not increase above 3mph. I had the vehicle towed to my home. Today I contacted the dealership requesting that they have my vehicle towed for service and a loaner (as this is my only means of transportation) and was informed that I would be responsible for the tow, that it would be 3 to 4 days before they could run diagnostics and they have no loaner. My reality is if I had merged onto the interstate and this happened, I could either be dead or lying in the Intensive Care Unit.

While driving at speeds between 30-40 miles per hour my 2018 Nissan Rogue suddenly brakes with no warning. I did not touch the brakes and there was no other vehicle in front or behind me. These incidents really scared me. This Sudden braking has happened six different times between November, 2020 and June 2021. I took it to the dealer(Nashville Downtown Nissan) to repair it when it first happened. They said that they fixed the problem free because it was under the 30,000 mile warranty. Four months later the the car suddenly braked at 40 miles per hour twice within a 3 day period May 27,2021 and May 30, 2021. Around June 1, 2020 I took my 2018 Nissan Rogue back to Nashville Downtown Nissan to repair the sudden braking problem again. They wanted to charge me $2,000 because it was no longer under warranty. I said that I did not have $2,000. So they told me to pay $182 for checking it. Now I drive my 2018 Nissan Rogue in fear of someone crashing into me. Nissan should be ashamed for letting this problem persist without offering A recall.

The front seat rocked so bad I had to hang on to the steering wheel when braking and turning. Again, a huge safety issue. After arguing with Nissan that this was a safety issue they replaced the frame under the drivers side seat and I paid a $100.00 deductible. They said my extended warranty did not cover it, I really had to fight to get help on this. Safety issues should be covered no matter what, it's their fault. There's all kinds of complaints about this online. I should have complained a year ago to you but was unaware of the NHTSA. Sorry, I don't have documentation. It started braking by itself while I was driving 65 mph on the freeway. Scary Sh**. This happened 7 times before I was able to get safely home. It happened even when slowing to 30mph. And the brake lights do not go on when this happens, my boyfriend was following me. I’m shocked there has not been a recall for this after reading online of other complaints and lawsuits. Huge safety issue. This isn’t a bad water pump issue it’s a peoples lives issue. I called Nissan and opened a case with them (case # 43890104) for the issue and to try to get my $165.00 back that I had to pay my local Nissan dealer. Although Nissan is going to reimburse me the $165.00 I paid, I strongly feel it needs a recall for this issue. People need to be aware that their lives are in danger. Please help. Make Nissan do the right thing and do a recall.

Automatic opener for the automatic hatch back. I opened it i was reaching for something in to take something out when the hatch came down onto me. It rested on my back and did not go up. I was alone and had to maneuver myself out of the SUV trunk and had to manually close the hatch. This also happened to my 82 year old husband and the door when pressed to open, it starts UP, then comes down before it fully opens. This has happened more then once. We took the SUV to our dealer who said that we would have to pay for the repairs. Is this a manufacturing flaw or serious accident waiting to happen, or should this be a RECALL. Please advise as we have an appointment May 25, 2021. We have been in Florida for the past 5 months that is why we are just reporting this.

FORWARD BREAKING LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON FOR NO REASON

SEVERAL TIMES DURING NORMAL DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY, THE BRAKING SYSTEM ACTIVATES FOR NO REASON. ONCE PULLING INTO MY GARAGE AT 5MPH. ONCE LEAVING MY DRIVEWAY AT 0 MPH AND TWICE ON THE HIGHWAY GOING 60+ MPH

MY 2018 NISSAN ROGUE HAS HAD THE AUTO BRAKES (AEB) KICK IN AND CAUSE MY CAR TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP ON MULTIPLE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS WHEN THERE WAS NO HAZARD, CAR OR PEDESTRIANS IN THE ROAD. IT HAS HAPPENED ON AT LEAST FIVE SEPARATE OCCASIONS AND THE LAST THREE TIMES I WAS BARELY ABLE TO AVOID BEING REAR ENDED. IT HAS HAPPENED ON SIDE STREETS, HIGHWAY AND ON INTERSTATE ROADS ON VARIOUS SPEEDS FROM 30 MPH TO 75 MPH. THIS IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION AND NEEDS TO BE REMEDIED WITHOUT CHARGE TO CUSTOMERS. WE PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE SO WE WOULD HAVE A SAFE CAR TO DRIVE OUR CHILDREN IN AND THIS IS IMPEDING ON THE SAFETY STANDARDS OF THIS OTHERWISE GREAT VEHICLE.

THE AIR BAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON AND IT STAYS ON. ALONG WITH THE FORWARD COLLISION LIGHT. THAT LIGHTS COMES ON WHENEVER I TRY AND BRAKE.

INTERMITTENT ISSUE WHERE TURNING THE WHEEL QUICKLY, TYPICALLY WHEN TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT THROUGH A FULL ROTATION (PARKING OR TURNING DOWN DIFFERENT STREETS) THE WHEEL WILL LOCKED BOUNCE BACK THE OTHER WAY BEFORE BEING ABLE TO TURN THE WHEEL AGAIN. THE LAST TIME THIS HAPPENED, THE ISSUE OCCURRED 2-3 TIMES IN SUCCESSION. I AM SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE DEALER TO HAVE THINGS CHECKED OUT. EVERY TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED THUS FAR, IT HAS BEEN AT LOW SPEEDS AND RECOVERABLE BUT THE CONCERN IS THAT IF THIS HAPPENED ON AN OFF RAMP OR ON RAMP ON THE HIGHWAY, IT COULD BE VERY DANGEROUS.

THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE FAILURE HAD OCCURRED ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE LOCAL DEALER COURTESY NISSAN OF TAMPA LOCATED AT 3800 W HILLSBOROUGH AVE, TAMPA, FL 33614 WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 64,000.

THE VEHICLE STALLS WHEN ATTEMPTING TO ACCELERATE AFTER A COMPLETE STOP AT A STOP SIGN AND TRAFFIC LIGHT. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN GOING ON AND OFF FROM THE YEAR 2020 UNTIL NOW, MARCH 22ND, 2021. THE ACCELERATION STALLS HAVE ALMOST CAUSED ABOUT THREE ACCIDENTS SO FAR IN BUSY INTERSECTIONS IN NORTH JERSEY. I HAVE BROUGHT THE SUV INTO NISSAN SERVICE CENTER THREE DIFFERENT TIMES AND THEIR RESPONSE WAS, 'SCANNED VEHICLE, NO DTC CODES FOUND AT THIS TIME NPF NO PROBLEM FOUND AT THIS TIME'. I HAVE MULTIPLE VIDEO DOCUMENTATION SHOWING A HIGH RPM OF 3-4 WHILE VEHICLE'S MPH IS BARELY PASSING 20MPH, RESULTING TO THE ENGINE CHECK LIGHT APPEARING AND THE MALFUNCTION ERROR MESSAGE ILLUMINATING ON THE DASHBOARD.

I RECENTLY PURCHASED MY 2018 NISSAN ROGUE IN AUGUST OF 2020 AND AS OF MARCH 2021, I'VE HAD 5 INSTANCES WHERE THE FRONT RADAR SYSTEM FOR THE CRUISE CONTROL FEATURE MALFUNCTIONED WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY. THE FRONT RADAR SENSOR IS PART OF THE INTELLIGENT FORWARD WARNING SYSTEM IN NISSANS AND ITS JOB IS TO DETECT THE DISTANCE BETWEEN VEHICLES. THE SENSOR IS TIED TO THE CRUISE CONTROL AND EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM. THE FAULT CONSISTS OF A FRONT RADAR OBSTRUCTION WARNING LIGHT MALFUNCTION ILLUMINATING LEADING TO THE DISENGAGEMENT OF THE CRUISE CONTROL FEATURE (IF ENGAGED PRIOR TO THE MALFUNCTION) OR THE CRUISE CONTROL FEATURE AND THE EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM BECOMING DISABLED. ALSO, WHEN THE FAULT APPEARS, THE BRAKES ARE ABRUPTLY APPLIED BEFORE BEING RELEASED WHICH IS A VERY SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE ESPECIALLY WHEN DRIVING DURING INCLEMENT WEATHER AS YOUR RELYING ON THE INTEGRITY OF YOUR BRAKING SYSTEM. I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND THEY MENTIONED THAT THERE WERE NO CURRENT RECALLS IN PLACE FOR THIS PARTICULAR ISSUE AND THAT THE SYSTEM WOULD NEED TO BE UPDATED WITH THE LATEST SOFTWARE UPDATE TO SEE IF THE PROBLEM IS CORRECTED. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY APPROXIMATELY $150 TO INSTALL THE UPDATE TO THE SYSTEM, WHICH TO ME SHOULD BE COVERED BY THE COMPANY DUE TO IMPLIED SAFETY ISSUES. I WAS SURPRISED TO HEAR THAT A RECALL WAS NOT IN PLACE FOR THIS SYSTEM, CONSIDERING THIS HAS BEEN A KNOWN ISSUE SINCE 2014 AND YET THE NISSAN COMPANY HAS YET TO ISSUE ANY

EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM HAS ACTIVATED 5 DIFFERENT TIMES WITH NO OBSTRUCTIONS IN FRONT OF VEHICLE. ALL TIMES I WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY DOING AROUND 65 MPH WHEN BRAKING ACTIVATED. IT WAS A FREIGHTING EXPERIENCE.

IF I HAVE SAFETY SHIELD TURNED ON , THE CAR ATTEMPTS TO BREAK WHEN OTHER CARS DRIVE NEXT TO ME. THERE WILL NOT BE ANY CARS IN FRONT OF ME, BUT THE VEHICLE ATTEMPTS TO BREAK. I HAVE TO APPLY MORE GAS TO KEEP MY CAR FROM STOPPING WHEN IT SHOULDN'T. I KEEP REPORTING THIS ISSUE TO THE DEALERSHIP, BUT THEY ASSURE ME EVERYTHING IS FINE. I HAVE ALSO MADE IT A POINT TO WIPE THE CRASH SENSORS AND CAMERAS CLEAN BEFORE DRIVING, BUT I AM STILL HAVING THIS PROBLEM. I AM ALSO HAVING A PROBLEM WHEN USING THE CRUISE CONTROL FEATURE. IF CRUISE CONTROL IS SET ON, THERE IS A DELAY OF ABOUT 2-5 SECONDS WHEN THE CAR TRIES TO AUTOMATICALLY BREAK. FOR EXAMPLE, IF MY CRUISE CONTROL IS SET ON, A CAR WILL TURN IN FRONT OF ME AND THEN MOMENTS LATER MY CAR RANDOMLY BREAKS AS IF THE CAR IS STILL IN FRONT OF ME. IF I AM APPROACHING ANOTHER CAR, THE AUTOMATIC BREAKS APPLY VERY LATE IF CRUISE CONTROL IS SET ON. I KEEP BRINGING THESE ISSUES TO THE DEALERSHIP'S ATTENTION AND HAVE EVEN PAID FOR A FULL INSPECTION, BUT THEY ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. THE CAR KEEPS BREAKING UNEXPECTEDLY AND I AM CONCERNED FOR THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY AND I. WE DO NOT WANT TO BE IN A SITUATION WHEN THE CAR BREAKS UNEXPECTEDLY AND CAUSES A FATAL CRASH BECAUSE OF THIS.

JUST BOUGHT 2018 NISSAN ROGUE. WHILE DRIVING AT SPEED OF 35 MPH , SUDDENLY FORWARD COLLISION WARNING STARTED FLASHING AND AUTOMATIC BRAKES WENT ON . THERE WAS NO OTHER CAR IN FRONT .

WHEN MY VEHICLE IS PARKED AND TURNED OFF I AM UNABLE TO LOCK OR UNLOCK IT USING THE POWER BUTTON ON THE DOORS' EXTERIOR. MY VEHICLE STARTED DOING THIS AFTER A VISIT TO A NISSAN DEALERSHIP (2551 THE NALLEY WAY, ATLANTA, GA 30360) FOR A SIMPLE OIL CHANGE. I TOOK IT BACK THE FOLLOWING DAY WHEN THE ISSUE BEGAN AND THEY TOLD ME THEY WERE NOT RESPONSIBLE AND THAT IT WAS A COMMON ISSUE OF MY FRONT-DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR FAILING AND THAT IT WOULD HAVE TO BE REPLACED. FEELING DEFEATED AFTER TRYING TO REASON WITH MANAGEMENT THAT IT WAS NOT HAVING THIS ISSUE BEFORE THEY SERVICED MY VEHICLE, I DECIDED TO LEAVE IT ALONE. HOWEVER, RECENTLY MY NIECE AND I WERE OUT SHOPPING AND NOTICED THAT WE WERE BEING FOLLOWED BY A STRANGE ACTING MAN. WE TOOK OFF RUNNING TOWARD MY VEHICLE TRYING TO REACH SAFETY, BUT WHAT HAPPENS? THE DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR FAILS AND I'M UNABLE TO ENTER MY OWN VEHICLE! OUR ONLY SAVING GRACE WAS THAT ANOTHER MAN IN THE PARKING LOT NOTICED THAT WE WERE TRYING TO FLEA FROM DANGER AND INTERVENED TO GET THE OTHER MAN AWAY FROM US. IT WAS TERRIFYING! I'M NOT SURE WHAT MAY HAVE HAPPENED TO MY NIECE AND I HAD HE NOT STEPPED IN AND I HATE TO EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. FAST FORWARD A FEW DAYS AND IT BEGINS TO RAIN FOR DAYS STRAIGHT AND I'M LEFT FIDDLING WITH MY KEYS TO OPEN MY DOOR, WHILE ALSO HOLDING A PURSE, BABY BAG, AND BABY ON MY HIP AND TRYING TO BALANCE AN UMBRELLA TO KEEP US DRY. DOOR TO DOOR NAVIGATION IS NOT ACCURATE. SOMETIMES I AM OFF A HALF MILE OFF FROM DESTINATION I INPUT. COMPLAINT WAS MADE TO NISSAN SERVICE DEPT. THEY TRIED A FEW THINGS BUT STILL NOT ACCURATE AT ALL. THEY TESTED IT AND SAID IHAT THE NAVIGATION IS DOING WHAT ITS DESIGN TO DO.

CAR JUST STOPPED AUTOMATICALLY WHEN COMING SLOWLY INTO THE GARAGE SEVERAL RED LIGHT BLINKED VERY FAST ...I HAD NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS BEFORE

DRIVING EAST ON I-94 NEAR BATTLE CREEK, MI AT HIGHWAY SPEED IN CRUISE CONTROL WITH MY WIFE AND 3 YEAR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER THE BRAKES APPLIED HARD. RESTARTED CAR AND FAULT CLEARED. PROCEEDED ON HIGHWAY AND IT WORKED FOR A BIT BUT FAULT SHOWED UP AGAIN BUT WITHOUT THE HARD BRAKING. SHUT OFF THE AUTO BRAKING WHICH ALSO SHUTS OFF CRUISE CONTROL. IT WAS SNOWING SOME ON THAT TRIP. OUR RETURN TRIP THE NEXT DAY IT WAS SUNNY AND WE HAD NO PROBLEMS. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL HAS A FUEL MILEAGE HISTORY THAT SHOWS UP WHEN YOU SHUT THE CAR OFF. IT SHOWED 10 MPG FOR THAT SHORT STINT WHEN WE HAD THE PROBLEM, OTHERWISE 26 MPG FOR ALL THE OTHER STINTS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO COLE NISSAN IN KALAMAZOO, MI WHERE THEY HAD IT FOR TWO WEEKS. WE DESCRIBED HOW THE INSTRUMENT LIGHT WOULD FLASH ON AND OFF SOMETIMES BEFORE THIS, BUT HAD NEVER APPLIED THE BRAKES LIKE THIS. WHEN WE WENT TO GET THE CAR WE WERE TOLD THAT THERE WAS NO CODE SET AND THEY TESTED THE SENSORS AND FOUND NOTHING WRONG. INTERESTINGLY, WE DIDN'T GET ANY SORT OF SERVICE REPORT OR PAPERWORK. DOES THAT MEAN THEY AREN'T REPORTING IT? THE SERVICE GUY TOLD US SOMETHING ABOUT THE TRANSMISSION BEING IN TOO LOW OF A GEAR AND THEY DIDN'T FIND A CODE THAT THE BRAKES HAD APPLIED. MAKES NO SENSE. THIS CAR SHOULD NOT REACT TO SNOW ON THE FRONT OF THE CAR BY LOCKIN

THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED BACK TO THE DEALER FOR ASSISTANCE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.

WHILE DRIVING THE ABS RANDOMLY BRAKES AND A MALFUNCTION WARNING COMES ON WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY WHICH CAN CAUSE AN ACCIDENT NISSAN WILL NOT FIX IT WITHOUT CHARGING 1300 DOLLARS WHEN THERE IS A CLASS ACTION LOW SUIT ON THIS ISSUE. YOU CAN DISABLE THE FEATURE BUT A MALFUNCTION WARNING STILL COMES AND BEEPS LOUDLY.

DRIVING ON A STATE HIGHWAY IN A METROPOLITAN AREA, THE SUN ROOF SUDDENLY EXPLODED. IT WAS MODERATE WEATHER FOR DECEMBER IN THE ST. LOUIS, MO AREA (I'M GUESSING IN THE 40'S). NISSAN SAYS THAT GLASS IS NOT COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY. HAD THE SUN ROOF COVER BEEN OPEN, GLASS COULD EASILY HAVE ENTERED THE CABIN. THE GLASS SHATTERED INTO HUNDREDS OF TINY PIECES - OBVIOUS A HAZARD TO CAR OCCUPANTS AS WELL AS OTHERS OUTSIDE THE CAR.

SEVERAL TIMES SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR BRAND NEW, MY AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING SYSTEM HAS ACTIVATED FOR NO APPARENT REASON WHILE DRIVING WITH MYSELF AND CHILDREN IN THE VEHICLE. THE CAR GIVES A VERBAL WARNING THAT THERE IS AN OBSTRUCTION IN THE ROAD WHERE THERE IS NOTHING THERE, THEN WITH NO TIME TO REACT, IT AUTOMATICALLY BRAKES. THIS HAS HAPPENED AT LEAST 10-15 TIMES SINCE OWNING THE VEHICLE. I'VE HAD THE SENSORS REPLACED AND DONE EVERYTHING I CAN TO TRY TO GET HELP WITH THIS VEHICLE. NISSAN ADVISED ME THAT THERE'S NOTHING ELSE THAT CAN BE DONE

I PURCHASED THIS CAR BRAND NEW. 2 WEEKS LATER I WAS DIVING ON THE FREEWAY AND THE PARK BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHT WENT AND BAM THE BRAKES HIT. SCARED THE CRAP OUT OF ME. I'VE OWNED THIS CAR FOR 8 MONTHS NOW. I FEEL LIKE I'M DRIVING AROUND A LOADED UNPREDICTABLE GUN. THESE INCIDENTS HAPPENED ON THE FREEWAY GOING SOUTH I25 OF ALBUQUERQUE. THE OTHER HAPPENED ON BRIDGE AND ISLETA ABG 87105. DOWNTOWN AREA ALBUQUERQUE TWICE. FEE WAY I40 GOING EAST OF ALBUQUERQUE. I WILL BE INSTALLING A CAMERA TO MAKE SURE IT DOCUMENTED FOR FURTHER ACTION. BECAUSE IT WILL HAPPEN AGAIN.

SINCE PURCHASING THIS VEHICLE USED IN DEC 2019 THERE HAS BEEN MANY OCCASIONS OF THE FORWARD ALERT FOR COLLISION ACTIVATING AND THERE WAS NO OTHER CARS NEAR THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE, IT FLASHES ON THE DASH SO QUICKLY AND GOES OFF BEFORE WE CAN SEE WHAT IT'S SAYING.THERE HAS ALSO BEEN MANY OCCASIONS OF THE AUTOMATIC BREAKING ACTIVATING AND AUTO BREAKING WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS INCLUDING ON THE INTERSTATE AND LEAVING THE INTERSTATE ONTO OFF RAMPS AS WELL AS NORMAL CITY DRIVING. JUST RECENTLY FOUND THIS REPORTING SITE AND AS WE ARE AFRAID OF A REAR END COLLISION HAPPENING IF THIS IS NOT ADDRESSED WITH NISSAN.
