Defect. Nelson Trailers (Nelson) is recalling one 2018 CBC-40ST trailer equipped with a Dexter Smart-Steer Axle with a bolt-on steering arm. The steering arm may break during certain conditions, such as low speed and high side-loading.

Risk. A broken steering arm and tie rod can separate and fall to the ground, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. The affected trailer has been repaired, free of charge. Owners may contact Nelson customer service at 1-419-523-5321.
