TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 ALUMINUM BACKTRACK BOAT TRAILER AW21 (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CENTER HIGH BEAM RIB SPLIT IN HALF. HE ALSO NOTICED THAT THERE WERE WELDS ALL OVER, WHICH INDICATED THAT THE OTHER RIBS WOULD FAIL IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THEY WOULD NOT INSPECT THE VEHICLE OR DO ANYTHING TO REMEDY THE FAILURE BECAUSE THE VEHICLE EXCEEDED THE WARRANTY. THE CONTACT HAS PICTURES OF THE FAILED COMPONENT. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 MAGIC TILT TRAILER (NA). THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AXLE STUB TORE AWAY FROM THE AXLE TUBE. THE TIRE BEGAN TO PROTRUDE FROM THE BOTTOM APPROXIMATELY 1.5 INCHES. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AXLE STUB WAS SUPPOSED TO FIT PERFECTLY INSIDE OF THE TUBE. THE TUBE WAS WELDED INTO THE BRAKE FLANGE AND THE AXLE STUB WAS SPOT-WELDED THROUGH THE AXLE TUBE, WHICH LED TO THE FAILURE. THE DEALER STATED THAT THEY PUT SHIMS INSIDE THE TUBE, BUT THE CONTACT STATED THAT THERE WERE NONE. NO OTHER VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS APPLICABLE. UPDATED 02-19-08 *BF UPDATED 02/19/08 *TR
