THE HEADHIGHT ONLY SHINES ABOUT 40 TO 60 FEET IN FRONT OF THE LEFT HEADLIGHT WHEN ON LOW BEAM, THEN IT IS COMPLETELY DARK FROM THERE ON. HAD LIGHTS CHECKED AND ADJUSTED. WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HOW FAR LOW BEAM SHOULD SHINE IN FRONT OF A CAR.

Reading these

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
