TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 KAWASAKI ZX636C6F. WHILE RIDING AT 40 MPH, THE PARTS THAT HOLD THE FRONT TIRE RIM TO THE INSIDE OF THE HUB COMPLETELY SNAPPED. THE CONTACT DID NOT STRIKE OR RIDE OVER ANYTHING TO CAUSE THE FAILURE. THE TIRE DID NOT BLOW OUT. HE WENT TO THE DEALER AND THEY WANTED TO CONFISCATE THE VEHICLE, THEREFORE THE CONTACT NOTIFIED AN ATTORNEY. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CANNOT BE REPAIRED. THE VIN, ENGINE SIZE, NUMBER OF CYLINDERS, AND POWERTRAIN WERE UNKNOWN. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 2,300.
