KAWASAKI CUSTOMER SERVICE INSISTS NO KNOWN PROBLEM EXISTS AND DENIES ANY RECALLS FOR SAME ISSUE ON DIFFERENT MODEL. A RECALL EXISTS FOR THE 1200 NINJA MODELS FOR THE EXACT SAME ISSUE. A LEAKING VENT PIPE IN THE FUEL TANK CAN ALLOW FUEL TO DRAIN ONTO THE GROUND. HAZARD: FUEL LEAKAGE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE CAN RESULT IN A FIRE. REMEDY: DEALERS WILL INSERT A SUPPORTING BRACE INTO THE TANK TO DAMPEN ANY EFFECTS OF VIBRATION ON THE VENT PIPE.
