The steel overflow line inside the tank has failed. The tank has been drained and removed. It can be inspected upon request. This posed a safety risk for myself and others. If the fuel tank was filled above a 1/4, it drained out the over flow while parked and riding. It was not discovered until I rode to the gas station to fill up and noticed gasoline draining as I filled it. A simple spark could have caught the bike on fire, regardless or riding or parked. The tank has not been inspected by anyone other than myself. I myself am a experienced and educated mechanic. I have a picture of the failed fuel line from a mechanics mirror.
