What owners reported
Newest filingsMOTOR WAS DEFECTIVE. CONSUMER HAD THE MOTORCYCLE FOR 1 WEEK AND EXPERIENCED AN ENGINE PROBLEM. IT MADE A KNOCKING NOISE THAT SOUNDED LIKE A ROD WAS DEFECTIVE WITHIN THE ENGINE. THIS NOISE OCCURRED WHEN THE MOTORCYCLE WAS STARTED AND CONTINUED. CONSUMER TOOK THE MOTORCYCLE TO THE DEALER WHERE THE MOTORCYCLE WAS PURCHASED AND CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER, WHO WOULD NOT AUTHORIZE THE DEALER TO GO INTO THE CRANK CASE TO INVESTIGATE THE DEFECT. MANUFACTURER'S SOLUTION WAS FOR THE DEALERSHIP TO GIVE THE MOTORCYCLE BACK TO CONSUMER BECAUSE THE MOTORCYCLE NEEDED TO BE BROKEN IN. CONSUMER WAS DISSATISFIED. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 25 MPH AND THE BRAKES WERE APPLIED FOR AN URGENT STOP MOTORCYCLE FLIPPED OVER. ALSO, EXCESSIVE VIBRATION THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE BODY. THE CONSUMER FOUND OUT THAT THE FRAME WAS STRESSED WHEN THE MOTOR WAS MOUNTED. *AK

Reading this record
No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.
Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
Most recent recall on file: none. Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation.
