I am writing a complaint for 2019 Honda CR-V. While I am aware of the fuel pump recall for this model, what is not recalled and needs to be are the multiple dashboard lights that turn on and remain lit that many owners of this model and several years earlier have not been able to find solutions for. The lights turn on regardless of having a new battery. 2017-2019 Honda CRV owners have not been able to get a clear answer from dealers, and only have been told by Honda to "go to a dealer" who is not able to give a solution. Some have reported that the issue is poor fuel inspectors that needs to be replaced. Finding answers to this is costly after already investing in a vehicle that we trusted would be safe. The multiple dashboard lights are distracting and a safety hazard, and the fact that we do not know the reason they are turning on puts us in a position of driving on the road without knowing if our vehicle will stall, break down, etc. My personal vehicle has been inspected. I am requesting, at minimum, that if a recall cannot be issued, then owners be provided at least one free diagnostic service at a Honda dealer to address an issue that was the responsibility of the vehicle maker.

In February 2024 we received a safety recall from Honda stating the fuel pump could prevent an engine from starting, cause a vehicle to lose drive power, or stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash or injury. I receive emails from Honda telling me the recall has not been completed. I booked an appointment and brought my car in just to be told parts are still not available. Why is Honda allowed to continue to build new cars where there are so many of these existing vehicles that can't be repaired. It just seems they are slow walking this in the hope that people will just give up.

On [XXX] I was driving home with my wife & [XXX] baby, in what I would describe as standard wintery mix of weather - rain, but not yet cold enough to be snow. My 2019 CRV EX-L alerts me of the following message: "Some Driver Assist Systems Cannot Operate: Radar Obstructed" As I've had this car for years, I've seen this message pop before, but as I had no plans of using any Driver Assist features, i didn't think anything of it. At roughly [XXX], while driving on the highway, my Honda became 100% unresponsive to me as the driver. It locked the ability to steer the wheel or apply the brakes in any capacity. The vehicle completely usurped driving power & under its own power, began veering off the road at highway speeds. I could only look straight ahead and hope that when we crashed into the upcoming highway divider, my family wouldn't die. To confirm, i tried pumping brakes, holding down the brakes, touching - absolutely nothing worked - they were completely locked. The steering wheel locked as well, we were heading for certain death. This was going what felt for a lifetime, but after probably 5 - 10 seconds, i was able to gain steering control - and turned away from the light post we were destined to hit & was able to get us veered back on the highway. Conditions were wintery, and we swerved alongside another car lanes away. By the grace of God, my car and the other car, only slightly touched side view mirrors. We both pulled over and swapped information, but little actual damag

I am filing a complaint regarding a premature failure of the LED turn signal on my 2019 Honda CR-V at only 81,000 miles. The turn signal is a critical safety component, and its failure presents a serious risk of accidents due to decreased visibility to other drivers. Unlike traditional bulbs that can be easily replaced, Honda’s LED turn signals require replacing the entire headlight assembly at a cost of $1,200.00, which is an unnecessary and expensive repair for a basic safety feature. The failure of an LED component at this mileage suggests a defective part that should be investigated. Given that turn signals are an essential part of vehicle safety, I believe Honda should issue a recall or provide an extended warranty for this defect. Safety Concerns: •The LED turn signal failed unexpectedly, reducing visibility and increasing the risk of an accident. •Unlike traditional bulbs, the LED failure requires an expensive full headlight replacement, making it inaccessible for many drivers to afford repairs. Requested Action: I urge the NHTSA to investigate this issue and consider issuing a recall or safety bulletin to ensure Honda takes responsibility for fixing this problem. This is a serious safety concern, and I believe it is unfair for consumers to bear the high cost of replacing an entire headlight assembly for what should be a long-lasting LED component. I appreciate your time and consideration in reviewing this matter. Please let me know if any additional information is nee

My CRV 2019 EX Honda is losing power while drivng. It is very concerning since it is happening very often and it can reduce all of a sudden the speed while driving on a highway. I have to stop the car, turn off and then on again to continue. I went to see if there was a recall, but no recall for my car. They say I should change the gas cap but I am not sure that will solve the problem since I’ve heard it can be a software.

Car automatically brakes when there is no obstacles and sometimes no other vehicles in roadway. Most of the time when approaching a bridge. Usually travelling at speeds above 50. Hasn't been inspected by dealer. This increases risk of rear end collision. The light saying to brake comes on prior to the brakes engaging. This has happened multiple times during ownership of this vehicle (purchased new). Most recent incident was within the last month or so. There is no indication of the cause. There are multiple other issues with this vehicle to include issues with the display screen, door seals, and poor interior, however those do not appear to cause issues of safety at this time.

It should not take a year to correct this problem. The car could stop while driving and cause a crash and injury.

On [XXX] at [XXX], I was driving down the road - there were no vehicles in front of me. The sky was clear and the sun was bright. There are several trees whose limbs extend high above the roadway causing a shadow to be created beneath them. All of a sudden, the collision avoidance system activated on my car. The "BRAKE" light illuminated, the "chirping" sound associated with the "BRAKE" light activation occurred, and the brakes were instantly applied slowing me from 40 mph to about 15 mph. There was no impediment (vehicles, pedestrians, animals, etc.) in front of my car nor was there a car next to mine in an adjacent lane. The only logical conclusion I could come up with is this: the tree limbs overhead created a "shadow" on the roadway. This "shadow" was of enough contrast in brightness from the roadway, just prior to this incident, that the system concluded there was an obstruction of some type in front of my car. There was not another car behind me for about 100 feet or so, but had they been within the normal distance that driver's follow the car in front of them, I have no doubt the result would have been a rear-end collision. I have had several instances in the past where a contrast in reflected brightness of the roadway surface has activated the "BRAKE" light on my dashboard and the "chirping" sound associated with it. All but one have occurred along a particular stretch of [XXX] just west of [XXX] (specifically, it is on the ramp from southbound [XXX] to westbound [XXX

Driving downtown seattle going through an intersection - green light - no pedestrians in walks - no oncoming or opposing traffic at the time. Uphill orientation. Doing about 25 mph. The system did a sudden and hard brake! This is the second time this has happened. First time was in a parking lot at low speed going over a speed bump and the passenger hurt their knee on the dash. It is clearly a problem and a serious hazard to all.

As i was driving on the highway, and with no warning my engine just shut off. Without any warning ligts or anything. Car then started back up and was able to pull off the highway when again this time the engine light came on and then just seized. And would not turn back over. Luckily traffic was not moving very fast on the highway or a serious accident could have happened due to the engine shutting down. Vehicle has been in shop for 2 months and was just returned to me, with a lot of the engine having to be replaced.

My wife was driving the Honda CRV (61k miles, 2019) through a parking lot when suddenly all kinds of buzzers and warning lights came on. There was no warning anything was wrong before this. All of the Driver Assist features read failures, none of the gauges worked, all of the dash was lit up like a Christmas Tree. Sufficed to say this freaked my wife out. She was in a parking lot, she's very anxious and this nearly caused an accident in the lot. There was no visible loss of power, but if we were on the freeway? Terrible accident! We've heard of other people having the same issue from CRV forums. Anyway, we took it to two different places to get the codes checked, and the codes were p0172 (fuel system too rich) and u0401-68 (ecm failure). We then went to a mechanics shop who diagnosed the problem but said they couldn't touch anything until the ECM was fixed by a dealer. We went to Honda West in Las Vegas, NV (W Sahara location), but they said there was no issue with the ECM. In fact, they said that "it's normal for everything to shut off like that when one system goes wrong or bad." Well, the problem is my wife suffers from occasional anxiety and panic attacks, but can drive normally. We've had a check engine light come on before and we've handled it. But the whole dash lighting up for 1 or 2 issues? A potential loss of power, skid control, driver assist features, all out the window because of two codes? By the way, the dealer said nothing was wrong with the ECM. Then why did
