Defect. ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES BUILT ON CHEVROLET 2500/3500 VAN CHASSIS, WHILE REPLACING THE STEEL RIMS WITH ALUMINUM RIMS, INCORRECT VALVE STEMS WITH INCORRECT PRESSURE RATING LOWER THAN THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE ALLOWED FOR THE TIRES WERE INSTALLED.

Risk. SOME VALVES MAY LEAK AIR INCREASING THE RISK OF A TIRE FAILURE. THIS COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.

Remedy. DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE VALVE STEMS. THE RECALL BEGAN IN NOVEMBER 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT HOME & PARK AT 1-888-762-3873.

Defect. ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES, THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER BRACKET CAN FATIGUE AND LEAD TO FRACTURE.

Risk. IF THE BRACKET BREAKS, CONTINUOUS VIBRATION MAY CAUSE THE CARRIER TO SLOWLY SLIDE OUT OF THE TRAILER HITCH CROSSTUBE AND FALL ON THE ROAD, WHICH COULD CAUSE A VEHICLE CRASH.

Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE THE SPARE TIRE CARRIER BRACKET BY WELDING IT TO THE TRAILER HITCH CROSSTUBE, ELIMINATING ALL VIBRATION. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 15, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT HOME AND PARK AT 1-888-762-3873.

I SPENT $375 TO HAVE THE FRONT ROTORS REPLACED BECAUSE THEY WARPED. I HEAR THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE 2003 ACCORD.HONDA SHOULD HAVE TO REFUND PEOPLE FOR THIS PROBLEM SINCE THEY ARE USING POORELY MADE ROTORS. THE SERVICE DEPT. TOLD ME THEY HAVE SEEN CARS WITH LESS THAN 5000 MILES HAVE THIS PROBLEM.
