TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 HINO 258 TRUCK. THE CONTACT STATED THAT BOTH SIDE VIEW MIRRORS BECAME DETACHED FROM THE VEHICLE, INCLUDING THE MAGNIFICATION MIRRORS. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THEY STATED THAT THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS WOULD NEED REPLACING. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000. ..UPDATED 04-23-14 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED A RECALL HAS BEEN ISSUED BUT, THERE IS NO DEALER IN THE AREA.
