Im not sure what caused it but when j was riding my motorcycle the seat got hot ajd when I looked down I saw orange flickering so it caught fire while I was riding it and I had to safely slow down anf get off it. It should be able to be inspected. My safety was at risk cause my bine was on fire and im lucky no one else was near me driving at thr time or im lucky my partner wasny on the back of mu bike while it spontaneously combusted. I had under 1500 miles on it and no eletrical upgrades. Im not really sure if it been inspected bu the manufacturer the manufacturer has denied warranty claim caused they cant confirm a manufacturer defect. I think progressive is inspecting it very soon if not already has.

Reading this record

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.

Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.

Recall repairs are free for as long as the recall stands. Check whether a specific car still has open work at NHTSA's VIN lookup.
