TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A THOR FOUR WINDS C34 RV BASED ON A 2007 CHEVROLET C5500. THE VEHICLE WAS EQUIPPED WITH AN IOTA TRANSFER SWITCH, MODEL NUMBER: ITS-50R. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED, THE CONTACT NOTICED A BURNING ODOR COMING FROM THE TRANSFER SWITCH. UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE TRANSFER SWITCH HAD MELTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000.
