TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1991 FORETRAVEL U3000 RV (N/A). THE CONTACT OWNS A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL NUMBER RM2862. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION UNDER NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08E032000 (EQUIPMENT). HE OBSERVED THAT THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT PROPERLY COOLING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND THEY INFORMED THAT THE REFRIGERATOR HAD TO BE REPAIRED BEFORE THE REMEDY COULD BE PERFORMED. THE CONTACT DISAGREED WITH THE INSUFFICIENT REMEDY MENTIONED IN THE RECALL. THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT REPLACED OR REPAIRED. SERIAL NUMBER 33505089.
