Fuel pumps failure causing the truck to loose power while in traffic. I have spent 8 thousand dollars in repairs and I am still all of a sudden low Fuel pressure pops up on the screen and it looses power. Has left me stranded 200 miles from my house. Ford has told me that they can't get it to happen for their tech and told me to drive it. Same thing happened again 200 miles away from my house. I feel like Ford knows what it does and doesn't want to correct the problem. These trucks are very expensive to buy and to operate with all the service that has to be done to keep it on the road. I have been driving Ford trucks for over 35 years and this has got to be the worst one ever also the most expensive.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-250. The contact stated that the check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who performed a service update on the vehicle, which required a software update. The check engine warning light remained illuminated. The vehicle was returned to the dealer, who diagnosed that the catalytic converter had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure and opened a case. The manufacturer offered to cover part of the cost of the repair. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 62,454.
Power fold mirrors do not fold in or out as designed. Mirrors do not completely fold out causing safety issue when a need to change lanes. Issue appears to occur when ambient outdoor temperature is above 85 degrees and/or when the sun heats mirrors. I have reported the issue to the Ford dealer several times when the problem was intermittent and was told they could not diagnose the issue due to it being intermittent. The service writers I have spoken with also stated they have never heard of the issue. This problem started at approximately 6,000 miles (intermittent) and has escalated to very close to 100% of the time now. Vehicle mileage is currently 46,000 miles. There are several complaints on various forums on the internet regarding this issue. Vehicle is available for inspection.

The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 80,000.
While my truck was under warranty, I reported intermittent failure of the front passenger door lock not functioning. Because it was intermittent, the dealership said since they couldn't replicate the issue they would not try to fix the issue. Now that I am out of warranty, the lock has failed completely and the front passenger door does not automatically lock when I am driving. The safety issue is that it will not lock or unlock automatically when it should. All other door locks work properly. Ford has refused to fix this as if it were still under warranty.

While driving between 65-75 mph the truck starts to vibrate in the rear. When I first bought it they said it was a heat shield but noice is getting worse and vibration is felt in floor. It has been to dealer twice now and on 4/24 will be the third time.
The drivers door power door lock fails to operate either to unlock the vehicle or to lock it. This is a safety risk as the power door lock should automatically lock the door once the vehicle reaches a certain speed to help doors remain shut in roll over accidents. Automatically locking the door also provides some security to occupants for carjacking. This problem first started when the door lock actuator failed to work in freezing weather at approximately 19,000 miles. The dealer was unwilling to repair it under warranty do to not being able to duplicate the condition despite video evidence. The problem has progressed to where it now no longer functions at all. This is not an uncommon issue as I have spoke with others who have had the same failure. Previous model year trucks have has customer gotten extended warranty from Ford to cover the lock malfunctions. Customer Satisfaction Program 20M04. The component of issue is the rear drivers side FOX shock added by Tuscany Motor Co, majority owned by Fox Factory. This component collides with the rear brake fluid line causing excessive wear. Eventual failure of this line could potentially cause brake failure leading to a major road hazard. This component is available for inspection upon request. According to my local dealership, other Shelby Super Bajas have the same design flaw with the shock absorber. This component/issue has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance, or others besides my dealership. There were no warning lamps or other forms of warning besides visual excessive wear of the brake line.
Check engine light comes on with injector codes. Ford clears the code and the problem continues to come back. Truck uses a lot more fuel when this is active. No help from Ford on getting this resolved. Issue: Some 2020-2022 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an illuminated malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) with cylinder injection pulse offset diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) P2B11, P2B13, P2B15, P2B17, P2B19, P2B1B, P2B1D, and/or P2B1F stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) after various fuel system repairs. Injector offset learning limits keeps triggering a engine light. Fuel consumption goes way up. Ford doesnt fix the problem they just keep clearing the code, but it always comes back

I was driving at a highway speed of 65 mph when suddenly the check engine light came on and the speed quickly dropped to 25 mph. The alert that appeared on the truck computer was low fuel pump pressure. This put myself and my family at risk of a severe accident. The dealership found corrosion in the fuel line and a problem with fuel pump. They felt it was possibly from contaminated fuel. They were working on 3 other vehicles with the same problem. This had not happened before and this is a vehicle driven daily. The term the came up with was a " Catastrophic fuel system Failure"
All 4 tires have this oily/greasy substance that is leaking from where the letters are at on “MICHELIN”. The oily/greasy substance it eating at the tires specifically around the letters. I believe these tires are faulty. Notice the oily/greasy substance a year ago maybe longer. Then recently found that where this oily/greasy substance is at is eating away at the tires. All 4 have some signs 2 of them have major signs. I have more pictures but they won’t upload.

While driving on freeway, engine started to miss/hesitate. No check engine light. Miss/hesitation started to get more frequency and started smelling gas. No check engine light. Took offramp and truck died at stop sign. Pushed truck to gas station. Once out of truck, the smell of gas was prominent. Checked under hood and saw nothing unusual. Looked under truck on driver side and saw gas dripping from the transmission to the bumper under the truck. Looked under passenger side and saw more gas. Walked around to driver side, opened the driver door (which turns the fuel pump on) and saw gas spraying from under the truck. Got under the truck and determined that the supply connector on front side of fuel tank was disconnected. I reconnected the connector, clipped it locked, checked for leaks and restarted engine. There have been no further problems. Determined that approximately 10 plus gallons of gas sprayed under the truck. Approximate milage at time of incident was 6500 miles, current mileage is 6900 miles. I have purchased and plan to replace the following Ford part numbers per the Ford workshop manual which contains the connector and downstream fuel line: PC3Z 9J280, LC3Z 9S278.
Engine started to tick and loss of power, had it hauled to ford dealership in Tulia tx to later find out that it had faulty rocker arms which is a known problem after calling around asking other dealerships if they have seen other pickups come in with the same issue! After digging further into the motor they found that the fuel system was going bad and also would have to be replaced which is also a well known issue after ford recalled 300,000 of these pickups with the same issue
I brought y car to the ford dealer in NOv 2024 for the open recall of reprogram integrated trailer relay module #22V193 and then they called me that the fuel pump needed to be replace because the truck al of the sudden stop working i spend over 12,000 to get the car fix and now i see the open recall for the fuel pump defective #24V-957 i would like to get a refund for the money i paid

AC evaporator temperature sensor has gone out at 40k miles. Cannot defrost truck windshield to see properly. Ford TSB 22-2089. Have been quoted $3000 to remove dash and replace.
Trailer brakes on my ram worked great on my rv trailer. Just traded it in on this truck and no trailer brakes. Message comes up saying brake controller fault. It's hard to stop a 8000# trailer in a emergecncy stopping situation. Local dealer checked my truck and couldn't say for sure what the problem is. They thought it was the brake module but they where on back order and I would be number 61 to get one. Certain year and model as mine are on recall but mine is not. I did a lot of reserch and Ford defintely has a problem with trailer brake controllers.
A/C compressor failure
Steering stabilizer bushing fail causing the shock to fall and rub a hole in the shock body and loose its fluid causing a death wobble in the steering wheel
The BJB fuse panel gets water in it .The vehicle produces multiple alarms and the throttle stops working . So when going down the road it goes to a idle and you can't get out of the way of other vehicle's . The ford dealership said the BJB Panels do get water in them but have not heard of them causing this problem. There was a list of alarm's from the fuse panel failure it all happened about the same time .
My truck since new would not go into drive or reverse sometimes it's under warranty, I took it to the ford dealer and they were able see the problem but stated in writing that nothing needs to be done just wait for it to engage the gear when I'm ready to drive the truck. Please help me if possible. Thank you
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-250. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the transmission experienced erroneous skipping of gears, causing the vehicle to lurch forward. Loss of power windows, loss of A/C and heat, loss of turn signals, loss of radio, and loss of head lights. As well as engine not shutting off after key is pulled out. The first initial problems arose a year ago, not long after purchasing a 2022 Ford f250 superduty. Only when it rained or during very cold days the power to the front dash would be out including power windows and locks, radio, and A/C and heat. Ford dealership was unable to diagnose the problem. A year down the road, directly following a hard rain, the engine would not shut off when turning the key and removing it. I had to pull the fuel pump relay fuse from under hood to get the truck to shut off. After removing the lid, which was way too easy to take off, I noticed that all th box fuses were submerged in water. Yes there are safety concerns, what if my child ir myself was to get trapped inside the truck if the power windows and locks are malfunctioning? And on a hot day when the heat and air conditioning are also not working? How long would the truck have to continue to run before it shut off? There are electrical fire risks directly correlated with water in the fuse box. There were no warning lamps. Ford posted a service bulletin on regards to this matter. The power distribution module and the fuse box lid are at fault. The truck has since been repaired and are making us pay for it because it is 5,000 miles out of warranty. WE ARE extremely dissatisfied Ford customers!

My reverse camera (the bed camera) quits working at random times. Sometimes it works fine. Other times it shows nothing but a white static looking screen and sometimes the button just doesn’t respond at all when I try to select the bed camera option.
ENG Light is on and losing throttle. When it loses throttle wrench light comes on. While driving on the interstate, the truck loses power and reduces speed on its own. It is difficult to maneuver to the side of road. It has been towed several times and repaired by more than one Ford dealership. We requested a buy back when the truck was under a year old and Akins Ford Winder Ga. refused to buy it back. It currently has 37,000 miles and has been sitting at the Akins dealership for two weeks. This truck could potentially cause an accident because it decelerates quickly and because of its size it is difficult to steer out of Atlanta, GA traffic. I have warned Ford Relationship director that someone will be injured in this vehicle. I was informed that I should contact NTSB and the Attorney General State of Georgia.
Multiple times, when engaging the throttle, it's as if all power from the engine is cut for a few seconds before it kicks back in.
With ambient outdoor temperatures below freezing the front right drivers door latch/lock is frozen and not operable during at least the last 5 days. Also, the manual locking mechanism is unable to be pulled to unlocked at it sits flush with the top of door panel leaving the door not operable. It is clearly frozen as the latch/lock starts working after the truck is allowed to warmup after significant run time (usually more than 30 minutes). ***NHTSA something needs to be done with these latches. I previously owned a 2017 Ford F-250 that experienced the same freezing lock/latch issues. Ford supposedly revised the installation and some minor parts for these locks/latches. I cannot fathom how has been allowed to continue and no recall has been issued. DOOR LATCHES KEEP DOORS CLOSED, UNDER THE RIGHT CONDITIONS THE 2017 SUPER DUTY I HAD WOULD NOT ALLOW THE DOORS TO LATCH CLOSED. I fear this will be the same on this truck.
The contact owns a 2022 Ford F-250. The contact stated that water was entering the cabin of the vehicle. The contact stated that the water entered the vehicle from the roof running light assembly. The water entered the headliner and ran down the passenger’s side front door inside panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed with a leak from the roof running light. The contact was informed that the roof running light assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The contact was informed that the damage from the water leak was not covered under warranty. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 2,200.
I was in a really bad accident nd went off n embankment. My chest hit the steering wheel md broke my sternum. My seatbelt also didn’t do it port by locking me in place and let me hit forward. Everyone at the scene. Could not believ the airbags didn’t deploy and the seatbelt didn’t help more. I am blessed and very fortunate to be alive!! Both doors on passenger side and driver side are hard to open . The damage where the car hit me was in the front.
Good Year Adventure All terrain M&S LT 275/70R18 load range E DOT [XXX] these tires came on my brand new 2022 Ford F250 bought at a Ford dealership in Colorado Springs February 2023 I drove it off the lot with only 67 miles on it. The truck as been driven 99% of time on paved roads with a unpaved county road here an there. The problem I am having is with all four mounted tires on the truck I noticed at approximately 9,000 miles the tread was peeling/chunking looking very rough & wearing fast for being so new. On October 16, 2023 took truck into dealer where I bought it at with 9,556 miles after returning from my trip they agreed it was unusual looking passed it off for me to contact Good Year which they looked at and said same but not willing to do full replacement of tires. Ford will not replace tires under warranty because "wear is consistent with driving on gravel or unpaved roads" Is that not what all terrain tires are made for? With me driving so little on unpaved roads I really think there most be a problem with the tire compound in this set of tires. After moving truck parked on concrete there are shreds/little pieces of rubber off of the tires that cannot be normal. The tires were rotated as recommend at the dealership at 5,553 miles. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
All four tires LT275/70R18 on the vehicle are junking out separating with large pieces of rubber. That should not be happening with only 9,628 miles driven on the majority of highway miles with the vehicle only. The tires are original equipment to the Ford F250 purchased in February 2023. The vehicle was taken into the Ford dealership on 18 October 2023 dealers kicked it over to Goodyear manufacture called and had a tire inspection done at a local Goodyear dealer they agreed there was a problem with the tire but are not wanting to fully replace the tires.
Driving down a busy highway and my truck starts lurching and losing power and then just dies in the road. I had to wait a few minutes and the truck would start up. There were no warnings or lights initially. This happened three times. After the third time it would no longer start, and a solid check engine light appeared after the third time. The check engine light did not present itself the first two times. According to the dealer service department the fuel pump quit working. Based on the time of day, the traffic was horrific, and I was almost rear ended when the truck stopped in the middle of the road.

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
