Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: FLAT BED, MODEL 898465B 3-WHEEL ON-ROAD VEHICLES. A HUB WASHER WAS IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED AND COULD DEFORM WHEN THE HARDWARE SECURING THE HUB IS TIGHTENED.
Risk. THIS COULD ALLOW THE AXLE NUT TO LOOSEN, RESULTING IN OIL LEAKING OUT OF THE SPLINES OF THE AXLE AND/OR AXLE FAILURE.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE HUB WASHER.
