WHILE DRIVING THE CONSUMER WENT OVER A BUMP AND THE TRAILER STARTED TO SWAY UNCONTROLLABLY RESULTING IN THE TRUCK HITTING A WALL HEAD ON AND THE EQUALIZER BAR ON THE TRAILER BURST. *MR THE SLIDING COLLAR ON THE COUPLER WAS BOWED AND HAD SLID ALL THE WAY TO THE BACK. THE LATCH WAS DOWN AND THE PIN WAS SECURE. BOTH THE TRUCK AND TRAILER WERE TOTALED. THE CONSUMER FELT THAT THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED BECAUSE OF THE UNUSUAL CONSTRUCTION WHICH PLACED TOO MUCH WEIGHT ON THE REAR WHICH CAUSED THE COUPLER TO BREAK. (CIRCLE J RIATA HORSE TRAILER) *SC *JB
