My safety or the safety of others are at significant risk everyday this vehicle remains unsafe with no remedy available. The safety recall was issued in May of 2023. It is now January of 2024 and I am driving a vehicle with airbags that may discharge shrapnel that can and will result in injury or death to myself and any vehicle occupants. This is unacceptable. Airbag remedies are not new, they are run of the mill at this point. What is the problem with making these cars safe to drive?

We no longer feel safe driving/riding in our traverse. I would like information on a refund and/or request the manufacturer to please purchase our traverse.

Air bag is at risk of rupture, causing injury or death. Letter was sent to us in June, and it's October with no remedy. We are about to head into winter with an unsafe vehicle. Plus after inquiring about trading it in at the dealership, we were told they could not give us a normal trade in value because it was considered not safe to sell with no remedy in sight. If it's not safe to sell, why are we being told to keep on driving these vehicles?
I have a 2016 Chevy Traverse. The “traction control off” light has been on for about 2 months now, along with the service stabilitrak light, and ABS light. When driving it seems is if though my ABS is kicking in when it should not be. Since those lights have been on, the left passenger brakes seem to also be affected. Anytime I first begin driving until I hit about 30mph, or anytime I press the brakes, it feels like my brakes are locking up…or a better way to describe it is when driving in the snow and your ABS kicks in and you can feel it in your brake pedal like the brakes are locked up, but there is no snow. Recently there were two times when I was coming to a stop light and nearly hit the stopped car in front of me because my brakes locked up and the pedal wouldn’t go down. Now, almost a week ago when trying to leave, my car will not start at all. The battery is new and the lights all work. The power of the car turns on but it doesn’t turn over to start or if it does it struggles to stay started and then dies right away. I have seen tons and tons of other videos or reviews of other traverse owners complaining of the same problem ranging from 2014-2017 traverse. Many people take theirs to a dealership and even they can’t figure out the problem or they say it’s a glitch in the system. There are far too many other chevy traverse vehicles having the same issue. The only difference with theirs is the lights come on every so often. Mine don’t turn off, they are always on. This

The transmission blew while I was driving down the highway and my car dash was flashing transmission hot and My car would no longer move. It was smoking and leaked fluids everywhere. I was scared to death it was gonna catch fire but thankfully it didn’t. I don’t k it if the safety recall has anything to do with it but Larry Spacc has literally had my car at his shop waiting to be repaired since August!
Airbag recall is taking a really long time I have 5 children that have to ride in my 2016 traverse with an active airbag recall that states the inflator could shoot shrapnel into the cabin where my kids are at. I'd like for my kids to be safe while riding in my vehicle. How much longer is general motors going to take to get this issue fixed. It's been almost 6 months since the recall was issued. I've very upset about this.

2016 chevy traverse fuel system problem while at an idle truck shuts off, also the truck drags while trying to accelerate. I have made a complaint before but haven't heard anything yet.

NHTSA publishes every complaint as the owner wrote it and investigates only a fraction. Spelling, capitalisation and judgement are the filer’s own. What carries weight is repetition: the same component failing the same way across many filings, and whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
