THE BRACKET CONNECTING THE STEERING DAMPER TO THE FRONT FORK AS FAILED TWICE IN 18 MONTHS. THE FIRST TIME WAS DURING A LOW-SPEED (20MPH) LEFT TURN. THE STRUT BOUNCED OFF THE ROAD SURFACE AND ROAD GUARDS OF THE BIKE. THE SECOND WAS HIGH-SPEED (60MPD) ON AN INTERSTATE. I LOOK DOWN AND NOTICED THE STRUT WAS NOT CONNECTED.
