Over 6 months ago the front sprocket on my 2015 can-am Spyder went completely out all of a sudden. At the time I was going up a small hill near my house. The sprocket went out as I was going up the hill and around a corner. I lost control of the Spyder. It went off the road. I was only traveling about 20-25 miles an hour. The bike is now sitting in Sacramento at Elk Grove Powersports, where it was originally purchased. I don’t know what is wrong with it besides the sprocket since it went off the road. I was not hurt. My bike may have been. I had a neighbor tow it out of the ditch it landed in. It has been over six months that I have not had use of my Spyder, no repair parts available, no information, don’t know if it runs now. I want to know where I can serve small claims papers for this problem. I have actually spoken to a class-action attorney who will take my case. I have found several other Spyder owners dealing with this recall with no resolution in site who are willing to file with me. Please call me at [XXX]. I just want to know where to serve these papers. Who knows what else is wrong with my bike since this occu

No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.
Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
Most recent recall on file: none. Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation.
