Using the recorded path feature to back into my garage as I have done many times before. I was alert, attentive and ready to act if needed. All started out ok and then the car automatically accelerated aggressively and I hit the brakes but too late as car backed into my garage HVAC unit. On a related note about 8 months ago my wife was driving my 2024 ix50 and pulled into our drive way. She advised that she did not know what happened but the car accelerated bashed into my other car parked in the the driveway and caused serious damage to the car she hit, state farm declared the 2024 iX50 totaled and I also had a decent amount of home damage. We both just assumed it was something she did but now I am not sure and have serious concerns about the 2026 iX45 and safety.

Newest filingsThe infotainment of my car is not working. The problem with this is that the infotainment is tied to the backup camera, which makes the backup camera non functional when attempting to back up. I will take this in to get serviced soon, but in it's current form, my vehicle is not complying with the requirement to have a backup camera.
