TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 BABY TREND INC. FB58935 FORWARD FACING CHILD SAFETY SEAT (NA). THE SEAT WAS MANUFACTURED IN MAY OF 2014. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HARNESS BUCKLE WOULD BECOME DIFFICULT TO RELEASE WHEN ATTEMPTING TO REMOVE THE CHILD FROM THE SAFETY SEAT. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHILD WAS ABLE TO EASILY SLIDE THE CHEST HARNESS DOWN AND WAS NOT SECURED IN THE SAFETY SEAT CAUSING THE CONTACT TO HAVE TO PULL OVER TO SECURE THE CHILD. BOTH FAILURES RECURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE PURCHASE DATE WAS UNKNOWN.
