Defect. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2020-2026 AA Series Aerial Device, 2021-2026 AN Series Aerial Device, 2023-2026 AM Series Aerial Device, and 2024-2026 Digger Derrick, and 2024-2025 A-Class vehicles. The turntable mounted platform access step may have been improperly welded between the step tube and mounting plate, and allow the step to separate from the vehicle.
Risk. A step that separates or becomes unstable while in use, increases the risk of a fall or injury.
Remedy. Altec will replace the steps, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 27, 2026. Owners may contact Altec's customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3374.

Defect. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2026 AN Series, 2023 AA Series, 2022-2026 Digger Derrick, and 2025 AM Series vehicles. The Bendix automatic braking system was not recalibrated after relocating the front radar box.
Risk. An improperly calibrated system may have a delayed braking response, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy. Altec will update the collision mitigation system with the revised the parameters, recalibrate, and test the system, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 16, 2026. Defect. Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2025 AA Series, 2024-2025 AM Series, and 2025 AN Series aerial devices. The outrigger pad holder may have been installed too close to the exhaust outlet.
Risk. The exhaust may overheat the outrigger pad, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy. Altec will instruct owners to inspect the outrigger pad holder placement. A kit to relocate the outrigger pad holder or exhaust outlet will be provided as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 21, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3252.
