2022 Alliance Rv Paradigm

Defect. Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Valor and Paradigm recreational trailers. The heating pad may not be appropriate for lithium battery applications.

Risk. The heating pad may overheat in the battery compartment, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the heating pads, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 24, 2026. Owners may contact Alliance customer service at 1-574-218-7165. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning May 29, 2026.

Defect. Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance) is recalling certain 2022 Paradigm 295MK, and Avenue 32RLS fifth wheels. The freshwater tank may be installed incorrectly, which can result in the tank detaching from the vehicle.

Risk. A freshwater tank that detaches from a vehicle can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy. Dealers will remount the freshwater tank, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2024. Owners may contact Alliance customer service at 1-574-218-7165.

Defect. Alliance RV, LLC is recalling certain 2021-2023 Paradigm and Valor fifth wheel trailers. A wire connector from the solar panel ports to the solar charge lines may loosen.

Risk. A loose solar panel electrical connection could overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Dealers will replace the existing wire nut with a new connector, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 15, 2023. Owners may contact Alliance customer service at 1-574-218-7165.

Defect. Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Paradigm and Valor travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

Risk. An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect for any weld separation and replace the awnings, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 17, 2022. Owners may contact Alliance customer service at (574) 226-0140.

Defect. Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance) is recalling certain 2022 Valor (36V11, 37V13, 40V13, 41V15, 42V13, 43V13); Avenue (30RLS, 31BHS, 32RLS, 33RKS, 36BRM) and Paradigm (295MK, 310RL, 340RL, 370FB, 372RK, 382RK, 385FL, 390MP, 365RD) recreational trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

Risk. A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Dealers will remove the quick disconnect fitting and replace it with a plug, free of charge. Once new quick disconnect fittings are available, they will be replaced, free of charge. Defect. Alliance RV, LLC (Alliance RV) is recalling certain 2022 Paradigm, Valor, and Avenue travel trailers, equipped with a 50-amp shore power inlet. The power inlet lug bolts may have been manufactured with excessively hard metal, preventing them from being tightened properly and resulting in a loose wiring connection.

Risk. Loose wiring can cause an electrical arc or short, increasing the risk of a fire.

Remedy. Dealers will inspect and replace the power inlet, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 25, 2022. Owners may contact Alliance RV customer service at 1-574-218-7165.

The front-end steel frame and structural assembly failed. The steel frame moves independently from the aluminum walls/body. Steel outriggers were not attached to the walls (both sides near propane compartments), main front beam mounting hardware was loose, and the front cap had inadequate attachment. The RV remains available for inspection. This defect compromises structural integrity while towing, creating risk of frame/body separation, loss of control at highway speeds, or catastrophic failure that could cause a crash, injury, or death to occupants and other road users. The defect was confirmed by independent service center Creekside RV (Salem, UT) through tear-down inspection, forklift testing that reproduced the movement, photos, and video. They performed 24 hours of structural reinforcement to stabilize it. Alliance RV was notified. They stated the unit was outside warranty and would only inspect it if transported 1,500 miles to Elkhart, IN. No manufacturer inspection of the defect has occurred. No police or insurance inspection has taken place. Early symptom: Cabinet separation photographed in May 2022 (12 days after purchase), later identified by Creekside as caused by the same frame flex. Progressive interior movement, sealant failures, and other secondary issues continued until full diagnosis in 2026. What component or system failed? The inner brake pad material on the front wheel of the door side and off door side separated. The material did not come unbonded from the pad plate, the material itself separated. I have the pads and pictures of the failure. How was your safety put at risk? The material could have become jammed in the brakes. This could have caused the single brake to lock up (possible loss of control), cause a brake to overheat to failure, or catch the tire on fire. The material could have totally come loose. This could have caused a brake line to be severed causing loss of brakes or, due to loss of pad material, a reduction in braking capability. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? Yes, the technician working on my vehicle stated he has seen this brake pad material failure on Kodiak pads multiple times. Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer? Not yet. Were there any warnings? No

The contact owns a 2022 Alliance Paradigm RV. The contact stated that while the RV was parked, the contact and his wife became aware that the awning fabric had separated partially at the heat weld of the fabric. The awning was then closed and almost instantly, the fabric fell to the ground, and the arms were bent. The RV was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact believed that the failure was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 22V512000 (Equipment). The manufacturer was notified of the failure.

The contact owns a 2022 Alliance RV Paradigm. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the front passenger’s side awning slid out unintendedly. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and the contact was referred to a dealer. The dealer inspected the RV and informed the contact that the failure was related to structural damage. The manufacturer contested the dealer's findings and referred the contact to another dealer. The second dealer also confirmed that the failure was related to structural damage caused by the wall studs fracturing from the RV steel subframe. The RV remained in the possession of the dealer unrepaired. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.

We got the Morryde Independant Suspension (7K) installed in March, 2022. They used the Alliance factory disk brakes that were on the unit (Alliance 340RL 2022 (2021 build date)) when they did the install. When I was at Morryde on 5/17/24 getting some basic maintenance done (alignment, tire rotation, balancing, bearings, shock replaced, etc.) Morryde found all four of my Kodiak disk brake caliper brackets had broken "tabs". One also had a busted disk brake caliper mounting hole which caused the brake caliper to be loose and rub on the rim. Dexter covered this under warranty. There were no symptoms of this before the wheels were removed. The caliper could have jammed against the wheel causing loss of control or the caliper could have been ripped off causing loss of brakes. While I was at Morryde, two other owners were there (different make, Grand Design) who had experienced major failures on the highway (blown tire and damaged rim, loss of brakes) due to the brakes mount failing and the caliper coming loose. I have photos of the broken brake mounts.

After finalizing the purchase of a 2022 Alliance RV Paradigm 295MK trailer at Giant RV dealership in Colton California we started our drive home. After driving 2 hours and 80 miles, I was notified by a fellow driver on 101 freeway in Woodland Hills California that I should pull over something was wrong. When I was able to pull off the freeway safely and made a turn I saw a trail of water behind my trailer. Once I pulled over I saw that my freshwater holding tank had fallen and I was dragging it.
