Further inspection revealed that the washers came from a Dexter lift kit that was meant to increase clearance. The RV was towed to the dealer, who had not provided a specific diagnosis, but replaced all bolts and washers for the Dexter lift kit. The RV was repaired, but the failure reoccurred. The RV was towed back to the dealer and was diagnosed with a failure of the Dexter lift kit bolts and washers. The contact was informed that several of the washers were cracked. The RV was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 2,500.
