I WAS DRIVING WITH MY THREE CHILDREN, MY TWO YEAR OLD WAS IN HIS CAR SEAT AND STARTED TO CRY. I THOUGHT HE WAS JUST FUSSING AND THEN ONE OF MY CHILDREN SCREAMED THAT HE WAS BEING STRANGLED BY THE ELASTIC BAND USED TO HOLD DOWN THE SIDES OF CAR SEAT PADDING. IF MY OTHER CHILDREN HAD NOT BEEN THERE MY SON WOULD BE DEAD. I HAD TO FIND A PLACE TO PULL OVER AND WE COULDNT GET THE STRAP OFF FROM AROUND HIS NECK. HE COULDNT BREATHE. WHEN WE FINALLY GOT THE ELASTIC BAND OFF OF HIM HE HAD LIGITURE MARKS AROUND HIS NECK. I CUT THE ELASTIC OFF BOTH SIDES OF THE CARSEAT AS SOON AS WE ARRIVED HOME.
