The contact's daughter owns a 2024 The Fud Trailer Food Trailer. The contact stated that the food trailer was manufactured on 09/13/2024. The contact stated that upon inspection, it was discovered that the food trailer had a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of 7,000 pounds and was not equipped with electric trailer brakes and an emergency breakaway system. The trailer was taken back to the dealer, who replaced both axles equipped with electric trailer brakes, and the contact stated that the rewiring of the electric trailer brakes was completed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.
