TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 SOUTHERN VAC 130 BARREL DUMP. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE THE DRIVER WAS DEPRESSURIZING THE TRAILER TO REMOVE THE MATERIAL FROM THE REAR, THE HYDRAULIC HOOK LATCH OF THE TRAILER FAILED AND CAUSED THE TRAILER TO BLOW OPEN, STRIKING THE DRIVER OFF HIS FEET. THE DRIVER WAS FATALLY INJURED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS NOT AVAILABLE.
