THE SHOULDER BELT ON MY CHILD'S SAFETY 1ST CAR SEAT BECAME WRAPPED AROUND HER NECK AND UNDER HER ARM. SHE PULLED THE TIGHTENING STRAP BETWEEN HER LEGS WHICH CAUSED HER TO STRANGLE. THE RELEASE BUTTON DID NOT WORK TO ALLOW SLACK ON THE BELT. MY DAUGHTER WAS CUT OUT OF THE CAR SEAT JUST BEFORE THE AMBULANCE ARRIVED. WHEN I CONTACTED THE COMPANY, THEY SENT ME A REPAIR KIT WITH "CAR SEAT OIL" IN IT. MY CHILD HAD STRANGULATION MARKS AROUND HER NECK AS WELL AS UNDER HER ARM. *TR
