SPARK PLUG CAP FAILURE RESULTING IN MOTOR SHUTTING OFF. THE FIRST CAP FAILURE I HAD OCCURRED AT NIGHT WHILE I WAS STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT IN THE LEFT MOST LANE. I HAD TO MAKE MY WAY TO THE CURB WITH CARS APPROACH IN AT 40 MPH AS THE LIGHT HAD TURNED GREEN. THE SECOND CAP FAILURE OCCURRED IN MY DRIVEWAY SO THERE WAS NO HAZARD. DO A WEB SEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND SEVERAL OTHER CAP FAILURES WITH THIS SCOOTER. MODERNVESPA.COM WILL HAVE OWNERS COMPLAINING OF THIS ISSUE. IT IS DANGEROUS ENOUGH IN A CAR WITH A PROBLEM LIKE THIS, BUT ON A SCOOTER SOMEONE WILL DIE IF IT HAS NOT HAPPENED ALREADY. I HAVE THE FIRST CAP THAT FAILED IN MY POSSESSION. I DID NOT GET THE SECOND CAP FROM THE DEALER. THANK YOU! *TR
