Risk. THIS COULD RESULT IN MELTING OF THE LENS; DRIVER'S VIEWTHROUGH REAR VIEW MIRROR WOULD BE AFFECTED.
Remedy. REPLACE MIRRORS WITH UNITS DESIGNED TO PREVENT WATER BUILDUP.
