HITCH FAILURE. TRAVELING NORTH ON HWY 61 NEAR CLARKSDALE , MS. MY TOW VEHICLE BROKE FREE FROM MY MOTORHOME. MY MOTORHOMES HITCH FAILED SENDING THE CAR OFF THE ROAD AND INTO A FIELD. WE WERE TRAVELING 65 MOH AT THE TIME OF THE OCCURRENCE. THANKFULLY NO ONE WAS INJURED. THE HITCH IS A HIDDEN HITCH MODEL 64 6003. NOW I FIND OUT THAT THIS HITCH HAD BEEN RECALLED UNDER CAMPAIGN 06E033000. THESE HITCHES NEED TO BE TAKEN OFF THE ROAD BEFORE SOMEONE DIES OR IS INJURED.
