****NOTE - MISSING MFR AND NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION. ADD MFR AND CONTACT CONSUMER.***** THE TRAILER WAS SITTING AT OUR STORAGE YARD. I WENT TO USE THE JACKS TO UNHOOK THE TRAILER FROM THE TRUCK AND NOTICED THE WELDS WERE CRACKING. I UNHOOKED THE TRAILER, AND THEN BEGAN INSPECTING THE REST OF THE TRAILER WELDS. UPON INSPECTION I NOTICED THE WELDS ON THE HITCH, FRAME, SUSPENSION, AND LOAD BEARING JOINTS WERE CRACKING, NOT WELDED PER SPECIFICATIONS FOR A TRAILER THIS SIZE WITH THE WEIGHT IT IS RATED AT. I CONTACTED A PROFESSIONAL WELDER TO INSPECT IT AND HE CONFIRMED THAT IT IS NOT SAFE TO USE THIS TRAILER DUE TO THE RISK OF THE WELDS FAILING AND CAUSING SEVER INJURY AND POSSIBLY DEATH. I CONTACTED THE MANUFACTURER AND INFORMED THEM OF THE ISSUES, THEY ARE NOT WANTING TO FIX THE PROBLEMS. ## VIN PASSED ## HULL TRAILER, UTILITY, 2019 ##

Reading this record
No unusual pattern of severe incidents in the complaint record.
Complaint counts track how many cars were sold and how long they have been on the road as much as they track quality. A common model from 2013 has had a decade to accumulate reports; a rare one from last year has not. The signal worth weighing is in the severity columns, in whether the same component keeps appearing, and in whether the manufacturer eventually opened a recall for it.
Most recent recall on file: none. Source: NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation.
