****NOTE - NEED TO ADD MFR AND PRODUCTS**** ECHO TRAILERS.. THE TONGUE IS DRILLED AND BOLTED TO FRAME OF TRAILER. THE HOLE THEY DRILLED TO ACCEPT BOLT WEAKENS FRAME AND CRACKS AND CAUSES FRAME TO BREAK FREE FROM REST OF THE TRAILER WHICH IS NOT OVER LOADED. SEPARATION BETWEEN TONGUE AND REST OF TRAILER CAN CAUSE BACK HALF OF TRAILER TO BREAK FREE AND TUMBLE DOWN ROADWAY AND POSSIBLY STRIKING OTHER PEOPLE OR MOTORIST. I WAS DRIVING DOWN ROADWAY AT 35 MPH AND WENT OVER A CATTLE GUARD WHICH MADE THE TRAILER BOUNCE A BIT. HAD UTV ON TRAILER. STARTED TO HEAR SOME CHIRP TYPE NOISES AND THEN A LOUD BOOM AND TIRE SMOKE. THOUGHT I BLEW A TIRE. WENT BACK TO CHECK AND FOUND TRAILER BROKE IN HALF AND DRAGGING THE SPARE UNTIL I BLEW.
