Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: DUMP TRAILERS. A HOLLOW DRAW BAR PIN WAS USED INSTEAD OF A SOLID DRAW BAR PIN.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL INSPECT EACH TRAILER TO DETERMINE IF THE PIN IS HOLLOW OR SOLID. HOLLOW BAR PINS WILL BE REPLACED WITH SOLID PINS.
Defect. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: 45' COMPOSITE PLATFORM TRAILERS HAVING A GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RATING GREATER THAN 35,000 POUNDS. THE TOP AND/OR BOTTOM FLANGES OF THE TRAILER'S MAIN BEAMS DO NOT MEET MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS.
Risk. THE FLANGES COULD BREAK, INCREASING THE RISK OF A VEHICLE CRASH OR LOSS OF CONTROL OF THE TRAILER.
Remedy. DEALERS WILL REPAIR THESE TRAILERS.
